Important Notes
- When registering online, please select your preferred time slot.
- Devotees should come 30 minutes before the selected time slot.
Note: Devotees are advised not to congregate at the temples much earlier than their time slot. - Those requiring assistance for online registration can approach both temples from 6:00pm to 8:30pm on weekdays.
- Keep email confirmation receipt with QR code for entry into the temple during the selected slot.
For Self-Prepared Paal Kudam
- Due to space constraint at SSPT on the eve of Thaipusam, (Saturday, 31st January 2026), devotees offering self-prepared Paal Kudam are kindly requested to prepare them at home.
For Temple-prepared Paal Kudam
- During online registration, select the temple where you wish to collect the Paal Kudam. On Thaipusam day, collect the Paal Kudam only from the selected temple.
- At Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple:
- Families, Female & Senior Citizen devotees to collect Paal Kudam at the Vinayagar Sanctum (Accesible via Gate 4).
- Male devotees to collect Paal Kudam at PGP Hall, accessible via Gate 2 at Race Course Road.
- Those collecting Paal Kudam from Sri Thendayuthapani Temple (STT) should enter the temple via River Valley Road.
For Paal & Thottil Kavadi
- Online registration is compulsory.
Sri Srinivasa Perumal Temple — Entry Routes
- Gate 4 (Behind Vinayagar Sanctum) → Families, Females, Elderly & Differently-abled Devotees.
- Gate 2 (Race Course Road) → Male Devotees Only.
Sri Thendayuthapani Temple — Entry Routes
- Rajagopuram → Main Entrance for Paal Kudams (Milk Pots) & Kavadis.
Gate 2 → Alternative Entrance for Paal Kudams (Milk Pots) only.
- Gate 5 → Arch Entrance for STT Prepared Paal Kudams, Eldery and Differently-abled Devotees.
Clemenceau Ave → New Path for Public & Non-participants
On Saturday, 31 January 2026, from 6pm onwards, there will be road closures along Tank Road and Clemenceau Avenue towards Penang Road to facilitate Thaipusam Festival 2026. In addition, there will also be road and lane closures along:
- Race Course Road
- Penang Lane
- Handy Road (between Orchard Road & Penang Road)
- Orchard Road
- Penang Road
- Prinsep Street
- Selegie Road
- Serangoon Road
Motorists are advised to follow the directions of road signs and Police Officers on-site.
